Photo Friday – Antwerp Tunnels


The St. Anna Tunnel is a pedestrian and bicycle tunnel under the Scheldt in the Belgian city of Antwerp . The construction of the St. Anna Tunnel began in 1931 and the tunnel was in 1933 opened. This 572 meter long tunnel, which is 31.57 meters below the ground, is also known by the people of Antwerp Pedestrian Tunnel known since 1933 and connects the city with the left , in other words, the older with the newer Antwerp.
