Purple Day for Epilepsy Awareness.

Today is Purple Day for Epilepsy Awareness in Australia 💜

Thank you so much to everyone who donated in support of Jack. We set a goal of $700, but we reached an incredible $2,485!

For children like my son Jack, who has a genetic form of epilepsy, it’s not just about occasional seizures. He experiences multiple life-threatening, prolonged seizures that require critical care, intubation, and heavy medication to manage.

In the past month alone, we’ve been in hospital three times.

On top of this, Jack attends numerous appointments with physiotherapists, occupational therapists, speech therapists, dietitians and other professionals to give him the best chance possible.

Despite all of these challenges, he remains a wonderful, happy, and cheeky little man.

Jack is not alone, and I hope today helps bring greater awareness and understanding of what living with epilepsy truly means.
