One of the things I like about WordPress is that things just work.
Take RSS for example. You just know it’ll work straight out of the box on your WordPress site. No configuration needed.
On Hugo, it’s also included but far from perfect.
I’ve been wrestling with a number of inconsistencies and after digging through posts and documentation they all lead back to either:
a) It’s not possible
b) Create this template to override the default RSS and hope the changes work
Both aren’t ideal.
I’m slowly working through it, but I wouldn’t have this problem if I stuck with WordPress. ❤️
